Abstrak: Group investigation merupakan bagian dari metode dalam pembelajaran kooperatif. Group investigation sebagai sebuah metode memiliki teori tersendiri yang berdasarkan pada pemikiran Piaget, Brunner dan Papert yang mana mereka menekankan pentingnya keaktifan partisipasi dan eksplorasi dalam konstruksi pengetahuan serta pengertiannya. Tulisan ini akan mengkaji mengenai pengertian metode group investigation, pelaksanaan metode group investigation , dan kelebihan serta kekurangan dari metode group investigation.
