Abstrak: Tulisan ini ditujukan kepada semua komponen yang terlibat dalam dunia pendidikan. Guru, orang tua, dan peserta didik semua menjadi objek kajian dalam tulisan ini. Menampilkan pemikiran pendidikan Syeh Nawawi al Bantani dalam kitab Nashoihul ‘Ibad akan menambah wacana konsep pendidikan yang sudah ada. Dengan menampilkan berbagai ayat Qur’an, hadist serta nasihat-nasihat para ulama, Syeh Nawawi seolah ingin menjelaskan bahwa proses pendidikan harus melibatkan semua pihak dengan segenap tenaga, kemampuan dan kemauan. Totalitas yang dibumbui dengan semangat agama inilah yang akhirnya menghasilkan pemikiran pendidikan kaffah yang mampu menyaingi konsep pendidikan modern yang minus agama.
