About the Journal

INSANIA: Jurnal Pemikiran Alternatif Kependidikan (p-ISSN: 1410-0530 | e-ISSN: 2598-3091) is a periodical scientific journal published by the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training since 1996. It has been accredited and indexed by Sinta 3 since December 7, 2022, and is also indexed by DOAJ. INSANIA is the oldest academic journal at UIN Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to scholarly discourse in the field of education.

The journal is published twice a year, in the June and December editions, and focuses on high-quality research articles that contribute to solving educational challenges in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It provides an academic platform for discussing various educational issues, methodologies, policies, and innovations that address global and local educational development.

Focus and Scope

This journal welcomes scholarly contributions that address contemporary educational challenges and innovations, particularly those that provide sustainable solutions aligned with the SDGs. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  1. Curriculum Development – Designing and implementing curricula that integrate SDG principles.
  2. Innovative Teaching and Learning Strategies – Exploring pedagogical advancements to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  3. Educational Assessment and Evaluation – Developing assessment models that align with sustainable education goals.

  5. Educational Management and Policy – Strengthening institutional governance to support SDG-based educational transformation.

INSANIA encourages interdisciplinary research and welcomes diverse perspectives that contribute to the development of education and global sustainability.
