Author Guidelines

  1. The manuscript has never been published/published or is in the process of being published in another journal/media and is proven by a statement from the author.
  2. The manuscript is typed by taking into account the rules of the Indonesian language and the General Guidelines for Enhanced Indonesian Spelling.
  3. The manuscript is typed 1.5 spacing on A4 paper with Cambrian letters size 12, totaling 15-30 pages.
  4. The title of the manuscript is a maximum of 20 words, written in Indonesian and English.
  5. Abstract between 150-200 words with 3-5 keywords, written in Indonesian and English (see template).
  6. Manuscripts published in this journal include the results of research and studies/thoughts/ideas related to strategic public policies in the fields of education and culture.
  7. The manuscript of the research results contains the title, author's name, address of the author's institution, author's e-mail address, abstract, keywords and content. The contents of the manuscript have the structure and systematics as well as the percentage of the number of pages as follows.
    Introduction includes background, literature review which includes theory and research results relevant to the formulation of the problem, and research objectives (25%).
    Methods which contain the research methods used, design/model, place and time, population and sample, collection techniques, and data analysis techniques –according to the type of research- (10%)
    Results and Discussion presents research results in accordance with the formulation of the problems and research objectives, dialogues/analyzes/discusses research results with relevant research theories and results, links research results with public policies in education and culture (50%).
    Conclusions and suggestions. Conclusions based on the results of data analysis and discussion, answer research questions and problems, not a summary of the discussion. Suggestions are made based on conclusions and contain recommendations that are applicable, academic, or have policy implications (15%).
    References are at least 10 books and published in the last 10 years, except for historical study materials, classic (old) literature published more than 10 years can be used. Of this amount, 80% comes from primary sources, namely articles published in scientific journals.
  8. The study/thought/idea manuscript contains the title, author's name, address of the author's institution, e-mail address, abstract, keywords and content. The contents of the manuscript have systematics and the percentage of the number of pages as follows.
    The introduction includes background, problem formulation, writing purposes, and contains the study method (10%).
    The literature review presents the results of the literature review in accordance with the formulation of the problems/objectives of the study, the development of theories/concepts, the results of the analysis of the studies related to public policies in the field of education and culture (75%).
    Conclusions and suggestions. Conclusions are made based on the results of data analysis and discussion, answering the problems of the study, and not a summary of the discussion. Suggestions are made based on conclusions, contain recommendations that are applicable and have implications for public policies in the field of education and culture (15%).
    References Reference literature, study articles/thoughts/ideas of at least 20 literature and published in the last 10 years, except for historical study material, classic (old) literature published more than 10 years can be used. Of this amount, 80% comes from primary sources, namely articles published in scientific journals/magazines and research results proceedings.
  9. Reference libraries from the internet are recommended from accountable references, not allowed to take references from Blogspot, Wordpress, and Wikipedia.
  10. All sources referred to in the manuscript must be listed in the references, and vice versa.
  11. Writing citations and references using APA Style and it is recommended to use a reference manager application
  12. Research articles sponsored by certain parties must have an acknowledgment containing information on the funding sponsor and a thank you to the sponsor.
