About the Journal
El-Aqwal: Journal of Sharia and Comparative Law (ISSN: 2962-5289) is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal published by Universitas Islam Negeri Profesor Kiai Haji Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto, Central Java, Indonesia. The journal provides a scholarly platform for the dissemination of research by academics, researchers, and practitioners in the fields of Sharia law, state law, customary law, and other religious legal traditions within a comparative framework. It has been nationally accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia with an accreditation ranking of Sinta 3.
El-Aqwal: Journal of Sharia and Comparative Law is issued biannually, with two publication periods: Issue 1 (January–June) and Issue 2 (July–December).
