Membangun Keadilan Sosial dan Lingkungan: Peran Agama di Abad ke-21

Artikel ini membahas peran agama dalam menghadapi tantangan kontemporer di abad ke-21, seperti perubahan iklim, ketidakadilan sosial, dan materialisme. Berdasarkan analisis dari buku Living Religions karya Mary Pat Fisher, artikel ini menekankan pentingnya peran agama dalam mendorong keadilan sosial dan keinginan lingkungan melalui dialog antaragama dan adaptasi nilai spiritual. Agama berperan penting dalam menangani isu-isu kontemporer seperti hak asasi manusia dan perubahan iklim, dengan tekanan pada moderasi dan tanggung jawab sosial. Adaptasi dan revitalisasi nilai-nilai agama menjadi kunci bagi komunitas untuk menghadapi tantangan modern, serta memperkuat kohesi dan solidaritas dalam masyarakat. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa agama, meskipun menghadapi tantangan sekularisme dan modernisasi, memiliki potensi besar untuk menciptakan dunia yang lebih berkelanjutan dan berkeadilan.References
