Author Guideline

  1. The submission is a critical review, idea, or empirical research focusing on Islamic history and manuscript, which covers: a) Islamic political history, b) Islamic social history, c) Islamic economic history, d) oral history, e) Islamic intellectual history, f) Islamic cultural history, g) biography, h) Islamic philology, i) Islamic codicology, j) Islamic paleography, k) preservation of Islamic manuscript.
  2. The submission has not been previously published in full text or part of it.
  3. The submission is original, neither a compilation nor a translation.
  4. Article a) is possible in English, b) uses Book Antiqua12-pt font, c) is in 1.5 spacing line, and d) is no longer than 4000-5000 words (including bibliography) in A4 paper size.
  5. The layout of the article uses the templates we provide. Templates can be downloaded at https://bit.ly/templateJIHM_link .
  6. During submission, the author will be prompted to supply an abstract of 200-250 words and keywords between 3 to 5 words defining the paper's subject matter. The paper contains an introduction (background, aims, and problems), analysis, conclusion, and references. The author's name, complete address, and workplace are also needed.
  7. The paper must contain a complete list of cited sources, given in the manuscript/in-notes citation (name, year: page number) (Madjid, 2010:15). Only references cited in the paper should be included in the list of references. It is possible to give additional information for certain terms.
  8. It is strongly recommended the submission of articles and accompanying manuscripts via OJS.
  9. Citation and Bibliography must use applications like Mendeley or Zotero with American Psychological Association (APA Style).
