PERNIKAHAN DI BAWAH UMUR DAN DAMPAKNYA BAGI PELAKU (STUDI KASUS DI DESA BANJARSARI KECAMATAN BANTARKAWUNG KABUPATEN BREBES)

Abstract

Abstrak: Perkawinan dini atau di bawah umur ternyata masih marak terjadi dalam masyarakat, salah satunya di Desa Banjarsari Kecamatan Bantarkawung Kabupaten Brebes.  Ada beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan perkawinan di wilayah tersebut yakni faktor pola kekeluargaan yang cenderung menjodohkan anaknya, faktor untuk menghindari fitnah bagi pasangan yang berpacaran. Kebanyakan dari mereka menikah karena faktor dijodohkan kedua orang tuanya dan karena pacaran yang sudah lama yang dari mulai SD atau SMP dan sering bareng sehingga pihak orang tua harus lebih memperhatikan pergaulan anaknya sejak masuk sekolah dasar. Perkawinan dibawah umur di Desa Banjarsari Kecamatan Bantarkawung Kabupaten Brebes menimbulkan dampak negatif dan positif diantaranya adanya dampak negatif yaitu: Kurangnya pemenuhan kebutuhan tanggung jawab peran suami istri, Istri takut kepada suami jika tidak menjalankan kewajibannya, Kesehatan ibu dan anak, Kurangnya kesiapan menjadi ibu, Istri melayani hubungan seksual karena terpaksa menikah, Istri tertekan dengan sikap suami yang keras selalu mengatur dan sering memukul, sehingga perkawinannya berakhir dengan perceraian, menyesal putus sekolah. Sedangkan dampak positifnya bagi pelaku yang menikah di bawah umur yaitu meringankan beban ekonomi orang tua, menghindari  perbuatan zina.   Abstract: Early marriages are still rife in the community, for example, it happened in The Village of Banjarsari, The District of Bantarkawung, Brebes Regency. There are several factors that led to the kind of marriage in that region such as familial pattern that tend to match their children and factor to avoid trial for the couple who are dating. Most of them are married because of the arranged marriage of his parents and because of the long courtship that start from primary or junior high school and they often be together so that the parents should pay more attention to child’s association since entering elementary school. Marriage of minors in the village of Banjarsari, District of Bantarkawung, Brebes Regency generate negative and positive impacts. The negative impacts are: Husband and wife give less fulfillment of responsibility of their role, the wife fear her husband if she does not perform her obligations, maternal and child health, the lack of readiness being a mother, wife serves intercourse as forced marriage, wife is depressed by the husband harsh attitude who always set and often beat, so the marriage ended in divorce, regret dropping out of school. While its positive impact on offenders who married underage namely lighten the economic burden of the elderly, to avoid fornication.   Kata Kunci: Pernikahan, Bawah Umur, dan Desa Banjarsari
