Integrasi Nilai Al-Qur’an dalam Mengatasi Brain Rot dan Doomscrolling pada Generasi Z

Di era digital, Generasi Z tumbuh bersama media sosial. Gawai menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari kehidupan mereka. Meskipun membawa manfaat, penggunaan yang berlebihan dan tidak terkendali dapat menimbulkan ancaman serius seperti brain rot dan doomscrolling, yang berdampak negatif terhadap produktivitas akademik dan kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kedua fenomena tersebut melalui pendekatan tafsir tematik Al-Quran dengan metode studi pustaka. Surah Al-‘Asr [103] dan Asy-Syams [91] diangkat sebagai basis normatif untuk membangun kerangka manajemen waktu dan penyucian jiwa (tazkiyatun nafs), yang diperkuat dengan QS. Al-Isra [17]:36 dan QS. Ta-Ha [20]:124–126. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutika fusion of horizon ala Gadamer, penelitian ini menggabungkan horizon makna teks suci dengan realitas kontemporer digital Generasi Z. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Al-Quran menawarkan solusi reflektif dan transformatif dalam mengatasi brain rot dan doomscrolling, khususnya melalui penguatan kontrol diri, pengelolaan waktu, dan pemurnian spiritual.Downloads
