This study aims to Find out the application of character building in social studies learning at MI Nurul Hda Karangkandri. The application of character building in social studies learning at MI Nurul Huda Karangkandri is an education that instils religios values, nationalism, integrity, independence and mutual cooperation which are applied to students through habitution activities such as reading Asmaul Husna and Allohukahfi every morning, carrying out Dhuha prayers and praying Dhuhur in conggretion, do infak every Friday. Apart from that, there is also character building through spontaneous activities, such as the teacher giving spontaneous reprimands, raising funds for vistims of natural disasters, visiting sick friends or visiting residents around the school who are being hit by a disaster ( bertaziyah ) and so on. The application of social studies learning in character bukiding for MI Nurul Huda Karangkandri studiens is through the formation of a socially school culture. The application ao character formation in social studies learning at MI Nurul Huda Karangkandri has been going well and has been implemented for a long time. ( meaning that this character building culture has been implemented for a long time ) so that MI Nurul Huda Karangkandri is a school with character,References
