Of particular concern is the challenge of attracting suitable talent to sustain its fast growth and developing future leaders to ensure that cross-border interactions remain culturally safe and respectful. Whilst it is agreed that much work has begun in establishing technical Halal competence within supply chains (Abd Rahman, Abd Mubin, Yusof, & Kamarulzaman, 2021; Hashim & Shariff, 2016), there remains a dearth of discussion around the design and development of a leadership framework to ensure its ongoing sustainability. In this respect, current knowledge around leadership in the Halal diaspora appears to consist of narrow definitions drawn from dominant Western-centric understandings of effective leadership (Weir, 2010). However, since these definitions are disconnected from their cultural contexts and cross-border implications, they can result in incongruities in their application, particularly in an Asian context (Harsanto & Roelfsema, 2015). The increasingly complex trading environment in this area would suggest that more focused research is needed to develop meaningful, respectful and relevant Halal sectorial leadership competency frameworks that successfully integrate the necessary socio-political values and cross-cultural complexities inherent in modern supply chains.
2024-06-26T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Adam Voak, Brian Fairman, Abdullah Helmy https://ejournal.uinsaizu.ac.id/index.php/eljizya/article/view/10551 M-DIN Application Strategy of Bank Muamalat KCP Kuningan in the Era of Bank Digitalization 2024-06-12T10:36:28+07:00 Abdul Ghoni [email protected] Tria Lestari [email protected] Toto Suharto [email protected] Alvien Septian Haerisma [email protected]
In the era of digitalization, the banking sector undergoes significant transformation to meet the increasingly sophisticated and mobile demands of customers. [email protected]
Various correlated variables affect the transformation of the Islamic economics in the context of society 5.0. These variables include halal supervision and certification, public awareness of sharia principles, product and service innovation, collaboration between Islamic financial institutions and technology companies, and integration of advanced technology. New product and service innovations, such as sukuk bonds and Islamic mutual funds, also contribute greatly to the transformation of the Islamic economics. On the other hand, the integration of technologies such as fintech and blockchain has increased accessibility and transparency in Islamic financial services, and increased public awareness of the benefits of the Islamic economics has increased demand for Islamic goods and services. Technology companies and Islamic financial institutions work together to produce innovations in Islamic financial services, while technologies such as blockchain ensure authenticity and transparency in the halal industry. Understanding these components is important in transforming the Islamic economics towards a more inclusive, sustainable and ethical economic system in a 5.0 society.
2024-06-26T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Umdah Aulia Rohmah, Mu’adil Faizin, Muhammad Arfianto Pandu W.
