Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor). The author must fulfill and sign Publication Ethics Statement and Curriculum Vitae. Then submit it on stage 2 as a Supplementary file. Publication Ethics Statement can be downloaded here and CV here
  • Manuscript make sure corresponding to manuscript template. If not yet, you must download template at Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • The author has filled out and signed the CV and publication ethics statement.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.docx).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

  1. The submission is a critical review, idea, or empirical research focusing on Da'wa or Communication, which covers: 
    1. Da'wa Media;
    2. Da'wa Strategy and Method;
    3. Da'wa Organisation and Management;
    4. Da'wa and Politics;
    5. Da'wa History and Thought;
    6. Islamic Communication;
    7. Islamic Broadcasting;
    8. Journalism;
    9. Communication Theory;
    10. Mass Communication;
    11. New Media Studies.
  2. The submission has not been previously published in full text or part of it. Fill in your Publication Ethics Statement and CV, then submit your manuscript in the submission stage. 
  3. The submission is original, neither a compilation nor a translation.
